Once upon a time….
Covid was a distant thought and European travel was still happening. Alicia and I spent a rainy day walking around Nuremberg warming up with some Glühwein. A day relaxing beer bath style in the Czech Republic. A day skiing, breaking for spiked hot chocolate and apple strudel. And a day celebrating Fasching (Mardi Gras) German style. I’m sad that the current condition of the world makes it impossible to know when I’ll be able to start planning trips again. However, I’m so thankful I got in one “quickie” before 2020 reared it’s ugly head.
