After our stay in Santorini, Addison and I hopped Islands and landed in Mykonos. We celebrated her birthday on the beach, devoured ample amounts of seafood, and perused through all the shops. We lucked out with windy days, which helped to cool down the high July temps.
Athens, however, was devoid of wind, and the temps were stifling. Still there’s something magical about walking the steps where you know so much history has amassed (even if you’re sweating buckets).

Athens:
A for Athens
We enjoyed their breakfast buffet but would also be a great place to grab some cocktails with a prime view of the Acropolis.

Athens: Airbnb in Plaka
Highly recommend staying in the Plaka area. It was in walking distance to all the sights, good food, and shopping.
